PoolStackwas born from years of building and shipping pool automation technology as an OEM partner for pool technology companies across Europe and beyond.
We saw the same pain point everywhere; pool companies wanted to offer connected pool technology to their customers but had no way to build it without years of R&D and significant capital investment. The platform we had already built: hardware, software, cloud, and deep-water chemistry expertise, was exactly what they needed.
We had already solved the hard problems: controller integration with any pool equipment brand, firmware that survives years of outdoor deployment, a cloud platform that scales from dozens of devices to thousands, and a pool monitoring platform that pool owners actually enjoy using. The question was never whether the technology worked. It was already running in the field.

Inside our IoT lab.
Our in-house IoT lab is where we test pool equipment, validate controller accuracy, stress-test firmware, and simulate real-world water chemistry conditions, across any pool equipment brand we integrate with.
Every controller board that ships has been through rigorous testing in this facility before it reaches a production environment.
The lab replicates the harsh conditions that connected pool technology faces in the field: temperature extremes, chemical exposure, humidity, and continuous operation over months without intervention. We accelerate aging tests to predict long-term reliability, and maintain calibration rigs for every pool equipment brand and sensor type we support, ensuring readings stay accurate across the full lifespan of the hardware.
This is where new pool equipment integrations start. When a partner brings us their control board, regardless of brand or product line, our engineers wire it up in the lab, map the communication protocol, and build the firmware bridge before any hardware leaves the building. By the time a controller reaches a customer site, it has already been running successfully in a simulated deployment for weeks.
